Notebook Proof #3

(You know the drill!)

IX

  1. To be Conscious is to be Alone.
  1. To be Alone is to be Unknowable.
  1. To be Unknowable is to be Nobody.
  1. To be Nobody is to be Somebody.
  1. To be Somebody is to be Everybody.
  1. To be Everybody is to be Nobody.
  1. To be Nobody is to be Unknowable.

Therefore, to be Everybody is to be Unknowable.

Therefore, to be Somebody is to be Unknowable.

Therefore, to be Somebody is to be Nobody.

  1. A Somebody is a Nobody Located among Other Nobodies.

X

  1. To be a Nobody is the Preferable Existence.
  1. It is Preferable to be Alive to the Experience of Others.

It is not Preferable to Live only in the Fixed States afforded by Others, even by Oneself.

  1. It is Better to be Alive, and to Experience being Unknowable.

It is Worse to Live as Knowable, and Experience Nothing—for Experience can only happen in the Unknowable.

  1. Experience gathers Coherence without Structure.
  1. Experiencing Nothing requires Structure to gather Coherence.
  1. Narratives provide Structure.

Therefore, Experiencing Nothing requires Narrative to gather Coherence.

  1. Coherence provides Meaning.

Therefore, Experiencing Nothing requires Narrative for Meaning.

  1. To be Knowable is to Experience Nothing.

Therefore, being Knowable requires Narrative for Meaning and necessitates Experiencing Nothing.

  1. Coherence without Structure is Experience.
  1. Experience is Relational.

Therefore, Coherence without Structure is Inter-Connectedness.

  1. Nature Works, and does not Malfunction.

Therefore, Inter-Connectedness is a Contextual Necessity.

Therefore Life, Nature, Consciousness are Functional and Correct.

  1. To be Conscious is to be Nobody.

To be Nobody is to Experience.

To Experience is Necessary and Functional.

To be Necessary and Functional is to be Coherent.

To be Coherent is to Generate Meaning.

  1. It is Preferable to be Nobody.
  1. Meaning is Emergent through Consciousness.

XI

  1. Conscious Desire is Good.
  1. Desire is towards Contact.
  1. Contact is only Negative when Consumptive.
  1. Consumptive Contact occurs in the search for Meaning.

Therefore, without Meaning, Desire towards Contact with the Other becomes Consumptive.

Therefore, the Other is Consumed to Generate Meaning.

  1. Consciousness Generates Meaning as Emergent.

Therefore, Conscious Desire is in Proportion to its intended Object of Contact.

  1. Proportionate Desire is not Consumptive, but Explorative.
  1. Conscious Desire maintains Multiplicity and Variety through Proportion.
  1. Multiplicity and Variety exponentially increase the possibilities of Experience.

Therefore, Multiplicity and Variety are Good.

Therefore, Conscious Desire is Good.

  1. To Experience Conscious Desire is to Experience a World of Unending Adventure through Exploration.
  1. Adventure is not Responsible for Meaning Generation.
  1. Adventure is a By-product of Meaning.
  1. Consciousness is an Adventure.

XII

  1. Adventure is Preferable to Story.
  1. Story Situates Consciousness outside Experience.
  1. To be Conscious outside Experience is to Narrate before Living.
  1. Narration before Living is only Necessary when Meaning is Emergent through Narrative.
  1. Adventure is Post-Meaning.

Therefore, Living comes before Narration.

Therefore, True Stories emerge Post-Adventure.

  1. Adventure is not only Preferable to Story; Story is Discovered through Adventure.
  1. The Adventure must Begin for the Story to Unfold.

Coherence is Guaranteed only through Continued Experience of the Unknowable.

  1. A True Story is a Unique Discovery.

XIII

  1. Obligations Cohere Experiences.
  1. Conscious Desire Generates Chosen Obligations.
  1. Obligations increase Contextual Necessity.
  1. Contextual Necessity implies Inter-Connectedness.
  1. Inter-Connectedness is Unstructured Coherence.

Therefore, Obligations Cohere Experiences, Guided by Conscious Desire.

  1. Coherent Experience, Guided by Conscious Desire, is the True Story Discovered through Adventure.

Therefore, Obligations Generate Adventure.

  1. Adventure is continued Freedom to Explore through Obligations chosen by Conscious Desire.
  1. The Unique Discovery of a Life is Fully Chosen, Fully Free, Fully Obligated, and Endlessly Open to New Experiences.

XIV

  1. Consciousness is Singular in Scope.
  1. What is Singular in Scope is Bound to itself.
  1. What is Bound to itself cannot Experience beyond itself.
  1. Consciousness cannot Experience beyond itself.
  1. Consciousness cannot Experience another Consciousness, even with full Understanding of Experience.
  1. Consciousness only Experiences as itself.
  1. Consciousness is Small and Bound to each Moment.

Therefore, Consciousness is Singular in Scope.

  1. All Experiences—Outer and Inner—are Bound to Consciousness.
  1. Outer Experiences are Singular in Scope.

Inner Experiences are Singular in Scope.

  1. The Singular Scope of Consciousness ensures Constant Unknowability at every Point of Contact.
  1. Consciousness is Relational.

Therefore, Consciousness is in Constant Contact with the Unknowable.

  1. Constant Contact with the Unknowable is Constant Experience of the Unknown.
  1. Experience of the Unknown is Adventure.
  1. Consciousness is a Finite Experiential Node.
  1. The Unknown is an Infinitude of Unknowable Experiences.
  1. Consciousness is an Infinitely Small Node in an Infinitely Big Network.
  1. The Node Experiences its own Scale through Inter-Connectedness.
  1. The Person is Small; the World is Big.
